- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Came in a year ago to get a simple filling done (first time getting dental care at Oasis) and have had to come in 5 times since due to treatment being done incorrectly. I came in again today, hoping that it will finally get sorted as I havent been able to eat or drink properly for two weeks, and to little surprise it hasnt. Penny was my dentist today and has left me in more pain post-treatment than I initially went in with. During my visit I was stabbed in the side of the gum with the scalper/probe which resulted in bleeding (she claimed it was "technical difficulty"). Because of my reaction of discomfort, the assumption was made that this was the "source" of my pain, and so she proceeded to put a temporary filling on that side of the tooth (when my discomfort was from the other side). She then claimed that no actual work can be done on the tooth today as there is now bleeding (from her dentist tool) and that fillings can only be done when its "dry". I was then told to floss, and take painkillers? Even though Ive been taking extra care of the tooth for the past two weeks before I had time to come in, by brushing and flossing regularly. (she claims not flossing is the reason im in pain). Additionally, no anaesthetic was used whilst she was blowing cold air into my tooth although I was showing all signs of pain. After speaking to receptionists, although very helpful, I am told that there is no other available dentist that can see me (even on other days) and that Penny is refusing to see me again today even though there is free appointments. I have left Oasis today in more pain than before, a stab in the gum, a bleeding mouth and no work done to my tooth. I do not recommend this Dental practictioner to anyone, and am VERY disappointed with the service!by Mohammed MarmalSeptember 23, 2017
